Rodgers tactics have great in defence, Moreno and Johnson have tucked into the middle to give us more bodies in the box for the cross and let sterling and Coutinho take the crosser.

Johnson just needs to stop trying when going forward. Every time it's him looking for the killer ball and he's just so predictable. He needs to just defend and look for the pass back to allen/Gerrard/Coutinho if he's In a forward position.

It's a wet day so maybe that explains it, but Gerrard's set pieces have even quite poor so far and sterling has been winning them in great positions which makes them more disappointing.

As far as city go, silva and yaya have been incredible wether they've been playing on the break or in possession.

I think we'll need to see some magic from Coutinho to see us get a second a half goal, we've looked good but we're waiting for the right opportunity

Having actually seen the highlights now, all respect for Cosmin Moti goes out the window I'm afraid.



Between the two of them I cannot understand for the life of me how the hell that wasn't picked up by either ref. By the time he saves it he's about half way to the six yard box. It's not like you can even give the keeper any leeway, he's nearly off his line before the penalty taker starts his run up.
