Just make a religion thread or something.

IIRC, there was one. It lasted 10 pages (roughly 30 minutes), then got locked, and deleted, shredded and firebombed.

There was a great one that was around 100 pages until it was afro-fied and Girt went on his anti-sodomy crusade (that single handedly cost the footballing community 8 billion stickers)

So we all know about the Muslims, what they are up to, what they believe etc.

But what about the minorities of the Middle East, what about what is left of the Christian communities that existed well before the muslims embarked on a crusade to take over the entire middle east, north Africa and the rest of the world?

Today we shall look at the Christians of Egypt. Do they seem nice or not so nice? You be the judge.

Okay, I'll bite

What a load of absolute fucking horseshit.

LOL.

Firstly, Christianity was barely present before Islam. Yeah sure, it existed in tiny pockets around the Middle East, but it was a rarity. The majority of the populations in the Middle East before Islam were pagan and animist, and that is shown so blindingly obvious within the Quran if you'd have bothered to read it.

Secondly, the first conquests a thousand fucking years ago were lead by Roman Catholic church - Later to become famous for among other things, the near total genocide of every single tribe in parts of South America, executing scientists for heresy, saying that HIV is better than using condoms, saying that unbaptised childen will suffer eternally. You know, all the good stuff about religion.

Thirdly, yeah I agree, we all know what the Muslims are up to and what they believe. Do you know that Jesus is also a prophet within Islam? I can't remember the last time I heard about a Muslim religious figure raping a little boy in the name of Jesus though. Can you?

Thanks for your sesame street level history lesson. You're so incorrect on just about every front that I'm not even going to give you my time unless you wish to pay for it. All I'm going to say is go back to REAL history books. Learn REAL history. Not propaganda.

Today we shall have a look at the Christians of Lebanon.

How evil do these people seem? Would you feel safe amongst them? What is the chance of being kidnapped and beheaded? You be the judge.

Impossible double standards have basically immunised a generation of new Atheists to attacks like these.

The world is getting smaller, people are finding that religions are starting to overlap. 30yrs ago you could live in shitville alabama and only ever be exposed to christian faith.

Now with the push of a button you get atheists, Jewish, Muslim, Budhism ect.... and you are forced to reconcile your religious world view with all these others.

You either stand firm and claim you are correct, or you investigate and make your choice.

Eventually the availability of the internet and information will starve religion.

What are you on about?

The authentic Christian Church was made official in the Greek speaking Greco Roman Capital of Constantinople. The creed and other matters were nailed down in nearby Nicaea, another Greek city. The bible is all about Greeks & Jews and Jews & Greeks. The New Testament was written in Greek. The oldest old Testaments we have are Septuagint Greek.

Check out this Australian who quit aussie life to head to the middle east to live as an ancient Christian hermit in the remote mountains of Egypt. He lives in a cave near the very one Saint Antoni used to live. Must listen to this man talk.
