theyve been talking about how good it can be as a journalism tool and thats why my lecturers been saying that we should think about joining it and follow bbc and all of them. not so sure i want to join it though.

Question. I know shaving 'up' with a razor is bad for your skin, but does the direction make a difference with an electric razor as it spins in a circle?

Electric razors don't catch on or drag the hair the way shaving upwards does because it uses a shearing concept. You can shave whatever direction you want with it. Even clippers/beard trimmers are more beneficial like that.

Shaving up can cause more ingrown hairs and it's a rougher shave because it tears the hair instead of shearing it.
