Gains:

Makrys, giannaros, urosevski, dascal, grbevski

Losses:

Purcell, minniecon, arcaba, symons

Would have been nice to retain symons, the others under performed

Overall, you'd have to say that you've strengthened the squad. Looking at signings I think the top 5 will consist of us, you blokes, Olympic, Bonnyrigg and APIA/Spartans/Blacktown

If APIA can get their shit together for once they'll be strong. They've got a great squad on paper. Blacktown are Blacktown, they're always around. Spartans will be in contention simply because the rest of the sides look quite weak at the moment

I thought I had a chance of getting to this but got way too busy.

For anyone that was there - how did Broadmeadow Magic go? Any players you would say stood out at all?

I tend to agree with you. utd have strengthened with pasfield, nikas, stav, and haydar.
bonno will be there. yeah they lost the likes of uchino but they picked up miller, caira, chronopoulos and chainese. very strong team.
b'town I agree. they may lose some players, but they always seem to produce new players. if major and cairncross don't come back, with baccus and posolero gone, will be interesting to see how they go.
Spartans- who knows given the number of players they've lost. not sure who they have signed.
Olympic have pretty much kept the same team which is good for them and then added balderson and fondyke.
apia have been the big spenders, see how they gel. on paper, very strong.
sutho- not sure who they've picked up other than jovotic from saints. in saying say, rocky is at the helm and they have big junior base to pick from.
as for the rest, not sure.
as always its a tough comp and anyone can win on their day.

surprisingly, braodmeadow from the games I saw didn't do too well. didn't see any stand out for them. theyre a great club though and will once again do well in the nnsw comp. great guys running the club, and a great setup.
