I've certainly enjoyed the Fox team for the Asian Cup games.

Adam Peacock - bright and chirpy presenter, who has learnt a bit about football. Has humour and spark with Bozza that doesn't go over the top, as it sometimes can when one adds Robbie Slater.

Bozza - articulate, but makes a lot of grammatical mistakes in spoken English, his humour and vast playing experience at a very high level compensates for his lack of recent coach education. Passionate about Aussie football and loves national team success.

John Aloisi - has a bright , cheerful and polite style. His knowledge from coaching in the HAL, as well as an impressive playing career in three of the wold's biggest leagues, augmented by playing the HAL, JA adds some good insights and detailed analysis.


Pim Verbeek - has massive intercontinental coaching experience as an international coach. Needs to be asked questions by the presenter to elicit a response, but always provides an impressive, concise analysis for his opinions, even if agreeing with other pundits.



This panel seems to be the perfect combination of football knowledge combined with humour.=d>

Rudan makes Bozza look like a proof reader.

Miseryguts Pim looked out of place on that panel.

Not a good TV presence, despite his "massive international coaching experience".

I think Pim's phlegmatic approach compliments the rest of the panel. The individual idiosyncrasies of this quartet, is a very appealing balance. One thing that looks a little unprofessional, is when Peacock , Bozza and Bulldog Slater struggle to get back to the subject.

This panel would probably also work equally as well with Bulldog replacing Bozza, but not both on the same panel.

Love or Loathe Pim, he is a good addition. Especially to counter the 'Australian Pride' of the other presenters.
I love the Socceroos and wish them to win every Asian cup from now to eternity, but an outsiders perspective is really needed on an international event like this one.

Bozza is a dropkick. Has no idea how to analyse games like Rudan and relies on emotive crap and rants to get through the day.

Bozza loves seeing Australia win and with style.

I think a pundit like Pim counteracts Bozza's lack of contemporary football knowledge. Also, as Glenn A League Mad suggests, provides an outsider's perspective.

The other thing after watching a lot of SBS recently, is that Bozza injects humour into proceedings.

I might enjoy Pim's comments more if I could only understand what he was saying...

He must have a good agent to have got a gig with Fox in Australia.
