If UAE manage to hold on and win the group then it would see Iran out of our path. UAE winning the group would show their class but I think Australia would go into the game a bit better. Iran seems to have a curse on us. Yes, it has been 18 years and we've always seemed to avoid them.

If UAE top their group and make it to the Semi Final we have a very easy draw =d> Iran vs Japan in the Quarters (The two teams that i picked before the tournament as our only threats) Sadly i don't see Iran not topping that group.

Qatar taking the lead in the next game would make things interesting. Iran just worry me because they broke our hearts last time but beating them would be very sweet. an Iran Japan quarter could even see Japan slip up. Australia needs to be careful and win the group.
