I'm more than happy to make individual match threads if people want it. I guess it depends on whether a stream will be made available, as there's not much point for a matchday type thread if we can't watch it.

I love his knack for pulling out of international games too. Would be very happy if an FC fan. Caceres far better than Antonis, amini or brilliante. You qualify as an idiot on two counts, if you want to say better thats your opinion, when you say far better its qualifies you for idiot status, and Caceres is older than all those players and ineligble for the Olyroos. Hey nick, there is no need to insult people just because they voice their opinion. Who the fuck do you think you are?

There is now though a real lack of forwards in this squad. Gameiro and Yeboah out. Pretty much just Taggart as a lone striker now, and he's just recently come back from injury. Given the amount of games in a short space of time the lack of depth up front could become an issue.
Blackwood, 18, has 45 mins off the bench for SFC in the opening game of the season. How is he really the next best option for an u23 squad? Good luck to him though. If qualification is anything but easy we are in real trouble considering the group we are in and the fact that top 2 can go through. Agree that Blackwood is a bit surprising, but maybe would have more game time at other clubs due to the depth of Sydney's striker options. Wouldn't be surprised to see Maclaren end up getting a lot of game time up front. A bit surprised Mabil/Borello were overlooked.

Won't be surprised if he magically overcomes his tendonitis to find a spot on the SFC teamsheet either. Thank god he's no Jeggo! Our Olyroos would be screwed if he was!!! And if he's ruled out for the Olyroos he's ruled out for SFC too. The benefit for the club is he doesn't fly to Asia and potentially aggravate the injury further for nothing...

The thing about Antonis he might be out with injuries his fitness level even coming back from long term injury have been really good. The Olyroos will have a huge problem without him at the next stage, because they seem to have all these players with limited fitness and who need a whole week to recover and that certainly includes Brilliante. Amini you don't know what condition he will turn up with, he could be worth 10 minutes as a sub or 20-30 minutes, maybe 60 minutes at his fittest.

Sbs commentators saying he is out with tendinitis and will miss the oylroos squad.. sorry if this is already a thread.
The up side for me is we will get to see a brillante and amini midfield pairing
