-PB Think everyone in the top 7 averaged over 40 against India so they probably thought give those guys the first shot. Khawaja will probably play next game. I'm suprised Khawaja hasn't played much one day cricket before this summer anyway. He destoryed the Metador Cup 2 years in a Row and I rate him a better One Day Player then Warner. My changes for the next game would be Shaun Marsh(Dropped) and Faulkner(Injured) out Khawaja and Stoinis in Khawaja Warner Smith Bailey Maxwell Stonis Wade Marsh Hastings Richardson Hazlewood

Khawaja is the Steph Curry of Cricket. Grace elegance and easy on the eye.

Some great batting at the end there by Mitch Marsh and Hastings to grab the win.

The Kiwi Test series is coming up.
Believe it or not they have a couple of bowlers with serious pace - faster than anyone in Oz.
Adam Milne is express. In the recent one dayers he has bowled 147 - 151 kph, possibly the fastest bowler in the world ATM. His action seems to take a lot out of him, but if used in a few judicious three over spells he bowls faster than anybody who is fit in Australia ATM.
Neil Wagner came into the NZ team in the Sri Lanka series. He also bowls in the low 140s and is a left armer. He was decisive against Sri Lanka.
With all their naggingly accurate seamers as well, NZ could easily win this series, given Williamson looks better than any of our batters ATM.

Funny thing about the Victorian Bowlers I don't rate Siddle or Pattinson in the top 3 bowlers in Victoria atm. Really? I've seen plenty of them at Bellerive Oval. In the Shield Patto has bowled some venomous spells.I don't think he is where he was a few years ago though ATM. Even though Siddle has lost a lot of pace he is unerringly accurate and does damage on helpful pitches. In the Aussie team, Chad Sayers has a very good rhythm. His smooth run up and action appears to take little out of him. The media is talking up Kiwis Southee and Boult. No doubt they are good in NZ conditions , but the sheer pace of Adam Milne in particular ( 150 KPH plus), and left armer, Wagner ( 140kph plus), could pose a real threat to Australia in the Tests. Lyon will probably be our mainstay. GOAT is underrated.

I've just read the Kiwi Test squad for the series.
There is no Adam Milne.](*,)
This guy has serious pace. I've only seen him bowl about 12 balls. All from 144- 151 kph. If any nation has a bowler with this sort of terrifying speed, the selectors usually select them for their Test squads.
I've seen all the top cricket nations in the last few months.
Morkel is bowling 140 -144 for South Africa.
Vernon has bowled up to 149 kph for India.
A left armer has bowled up to 147 kph for Pakistan. I cannot remember his name, but I know his features well. He is balding.
Plunkett and Wood can bowl mid 140s for England.
Shannon Gabriel bowled a fews balls 147 -149kph against us in the West Indies.
Only the injury prone Aussies have quicker bowlers, when fully match fit, and at their top form, but few, if any, can hit Milne's consistent speed in just 12 balls.

They found some great young players. Matt Renshaw could break the 1000 Run mark this season and he is only 19.

its a shame we dont have starc a full fit and firing starc along with the impressive hastings, marsh and maybe a decent spinner and we may have a shot at containing some of the better sides how is coulter-nile at 20/20

How Nevil and Agar got in I don't know.
Handscob,Pierson,Hartley,Paine,Dunk would be better choices imo Agar is vastly overrated as a spinner. Boyce was very stiff.

Nevill is the best gloveman in the country and has a no frills batting attitude that complements our big hitters nicely. He should be playing in all formats. Agar's fielding and batting get him in over Boyce, no complaints from me. Chris Hartley is the best Gloveman in the Country by a mile.

My club keeper is probably better than Wade, but he isn't going to be in the test side any time soon. Hartley is a better Batsmen then Nevil in the shorter form of the game and a better keeper.

Kiwis/Oz Test series currently on Fox Sports.
Good to see some hard working Shield bowlers showing true quality in overseas conditions.=d>
Kiwis are 5-84 at lunch. Williamson played some exquisite shots before a brilliant inside of the bat snick to Nevil off Siddle.
Too few Australians see how mediocre Australia often are as a Test unit in overseas conditions , apart from South Africa and the West Indies.
Also, many of the limited over bowlers in 20/20 and One Day cricket, basically try and bowl defensive dot balls, not take wickets.

Nevil took a screamer to catch Williamson off Siddle. I prefer selecting the best keeper regardless of batting ability.

11.mvfc.11 wrote:You can not script this. Final over of the day and Voges shoulders arms, bowled by Bracewell. Umpire calls no ball. Replays show it was quite comfortably a legitimate delivery, Voges stays in in extremely lucky circumstances.
Edited by 11.mvfc.11: 12/2/2016 04:09:05 PM One of the worst decisions made to a bowler's disadvantage. For the sake of fairness I hope Voges is dismissed soon, fittingly by Bracewell.

Seeing Voges score 200 after the worst no ball call i've ever seen is a joke. That umpire should get fired, completely fucked the match.
