He failed with the Knights? Hes got no chance then. Nice to see you back submitting rumours Pazza. What do you think about the FourFourTwo article De Moraes to GCU [RUMOUR]? Have your say.

Their first game isnt for a year, why would someone big sign this early and effectively give themselves a year out of the game. Big signings will come later

If GCU were a futsal team - great.
However, as they are not, De Moraes will be about as much use as tits on a bull. Pea-hearted show pony.

You could have a contract starting next year and still be on one for this year.

imnofreak. not sure if youve seen fernado play but hes got sum f**king excellent skills, good ball control and a ripper shot. i was hoping that he would have been picked up by victory at the start of the a-league and then he played a couple of games for nz knights. he was a short term contracted player and didnt fail with them. he was one of the plyers signed to finish off the contract. and to what jamo91 said about taking up an international spot, hes been in aus for bout 4-5 years now and represents Aus is futsal.

Ah ok. Thanks for clearing that up. Never seen him play. Just read that he failed with NZ and misinterpreted. My bad. Hope he gets picked up

Since we won the grand final 2 seasons ago Fernando has been just average, mainly due to injuries and lack of effort. Only goes 100% when he's 'in the mood'. IMO he simply wouldn't be up to HAL standard. He joinned South Melbourne from off the street, he was more a futsal player than outder player back in Brazil and this shows when he plays. Too much tricks, flicks etc and not enough grunt and graft from him. It's fine in the VPL but you need a bit of physicality in the A-League otherwise you'll get clobbered. Good luck to him though, another player using South as a stepping stone to bigger and better things.

Getting a bit sick of SMH fans going on about what a great stepping stone their club is, it's the whole VPL that provides the stepping stone ! Victory's last 2 signings from within Victoria? Stevie Pace and Lupce Acevski, both from Preston's premiership team. Added to this are Issy Erdgoan, Ziggy Petrevski, Sasa Ogenovski, many more that have come from Preston Makedonia. But no Preston fans are going around blowing a trumpet about PM being the stepping stone.
