Yep, that was my childhood. The Rock, Stone Cold, HHH, Taker, HBK, many more...all in their prime. Grew up with my dad being a huge fan of the old school stuff with Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Andre the Giant, Macho Man, Brutus the Barber etc. Might have to get some DVD's myself. I have some older ones from 2005-ish and Wrestlemania 23. My best memories (and still my favourite matches) are the tag-team matches between the Hardy Boyz, the Dudleys and Edge & Christian. That was tag-team wrestling in its prime.

Glorified actors pretending to be 'athletes'.
There used to be a wrestling thread.

Can't go past Jericho, everyone deep down is a Jericholic
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

Attitude era and the monday night wars was the best thing ever.
Now its gone a bit pear shaped. Its nice having Brock and the Rock back, but they dont do enough fighting or getting involved. THey both just keeping Cena afloat. I want to see things gets more heated, a lot more talking going on instead of fighting.
CM Punk is my favourite at the moment. WWE missed a big opportunity with Nexus and them destroying everything in their path, was almost like an invasion, they could have really made something big. They missing a lot of chances at the moment to do something big.
I miss the attitude era days. Love Jericho being back, if only we could have Edge back too. that man was a performer and he knew how to do it. Need to see things get more intense and heated and not have meaningless matches.

If Edge didnt get a big pop then the fans are messed up. Im hating Cena more and more, well at least the storylines he gets put in and all that.

Don't think Edge is gonna be coming back for wrestling action, just to get some more hype for the Cena-Lesnar feud.

Im just saying that there seems to be toooo much talking going on of late, not enough fighting. When they do fight, its usual some sort of weird fight and not letting the wrestlers reach their true potential. .

Decided to start my own footballing blog, just to put to words my thoughts on certain topics. Finished my first piece just then, so I would appreciate if anyone could go through it and point anything out. Keep in mind I'm still just under 16 years old. http://goingthefull90.wordpress.com/Edited by keepersball: 6/5/2012 03:57:12 PM

I've been tempted to do some writing for NFL. Keep at it mate. The more you read, the better you write. The more write, the better you get.

No point in making a new thread. How do you resize a photo to use as an avatar?
