When you get his references it makes you feel smarter and in the inner circle of football intelligence. I missed plenty.

Like many cartoonists, some of it is very witty, some so-so. He can capture an image though and there is no doubt who his characters are - big plus.

The shame is that something else that focussed on us and drew attention to us is gorn - or maybe we are getting better at our league and he is running out of mockery without having to try too hard.

Meh, Squires is just ok as a cartoonist.
