Hhahahaha fantastic. Went to the link. That man needs to be fed. That panel in the office about their sport getting 100 points etc. I had that just yesterday.

Bump because the panel about the chap in the office banging about their sport getting 100 points etc. needs to be printed out and pinned to partitions everywhere.

For the first time, but certainly not the last, I began to believe that Arsenals moods and fortunes somehow reflected my own. - Hornby

Kinda agree - that said, he's drawn some absolute bangers in recent weeks so I guess we can't always get the best from him haha

Which is why it's great we support him and his work by giving his link the hits it deserves - I've always said once the A-League starts getting specific satirical content produced for it (think these cartoons, Santo Sam and Ed) then you know it's started to grow in popularity in the mainstream.

Not the highlight in his cartoon work but for sure is bang on regarding all the subjects in the Australian media regarding football at the moment. Take the mickey out of those who think they know what is right for football when they have no idea about football themselves.

Other than fuckwits and flares (which he probably didn't want to give oxygen to ... ) there wasn't much material to work with over the last couple of weeks. Good on him for not giving those dickheads who appeared on ch10 any acknowledgement.

The Tim Cahill cartoon is perfection though.

AFL Players Pet Expo trumps A-League fixture... http://www.theguardian.com/sport/picture/2016/mar/03/david-squires-on-a-league-clubs-in-the-asian-champions-leagueQuote:Without David Squires I would know sweet fuck all about the A-League, nor would I give a fuck. But I've actually started reading match reports and articles about the Australian game as a sole result of these strips. So while the rest of Australia continues to ignore the league, David Squires is helping extend it's global reach. Quote:Squires does more to promote the Aussie game than the FFA.
