It looks like Iain Ramsay has finally accepted the offer to play for the Philippines, the country of his mother's birth.
He has been called up into the squad for the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers against Bahrain and Yemen.

All the best to him, like Brendan Gan for Malaysia. Was never going to represent Australia.

Will be interesting should he come up against the Socceroos. I don't think there'd be too much resentment.

Good luck to him! Hope he does well. Hasn't been able to translate some form at club level, but may be able to for the Philippines.

Would be nice to see Ramsay for Philippines v either Gan for Malaysia or Patafta for Laos in one of those South-East Asian shit-kicker tournaments

Dunno about that - he has a great chance to play at the Olympics for Aus next year and who knows beyond that.
