That may be a little premature considering that no one here has actually watched him play for any length of time. Additionally that can always simply choose to put him outside the cap for a season and bring him under next year depending on the situation. If they don't have someone big lined up then it matters not

As mentioned, it's interesting how you can come to that decision having never watched the guy play.

I mean looking at it from a purely goals scored point of view, kind of important for a striker, he scored more goals than another marquee in Holosko last season and was playing at a much higher level.

If we are talking international marquees, Jardel was a flop but had good pedigree (played for Brazil, top scorer in Europe for three seasons, etc). Bit of a let down when he turned up looking like a blimp though.

Marinkovic has not been a flop but based on the definition of "marquee" he is most definitely underwhelming. Never played senior international football and Partizan Belgrade is the biggest club he has played for.

He was only a marquee because of the bullshit cap breaking deal that Glory had with Keogh.

If RG is right, yes, it will be a hell of a signing. The move that wiki list has since been removed. GATT was still claiming as late as this afternoon that Popa had sealed the deal. I guess we will know soon
