Canberra FC meet Canberra Olympic in the PlayStation 4® National Premier Leagues Capital Football 2015 Grand Final at McKellar Park on Sunday as the winter season in Canberra draws to a conclusion. This will be the third time in five seasons that this match-up will decide the fate of the Grand Final trophy and with the previous two encounters being memorable occasions, the scene is set for 2015 to be the ultimate showdown. If you can’t attend the Grand Final of the PS4 National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s 1 at Leichhardt Oval on Sunday, you can watch it online. Experienced commentator Brenton Speed, who regularly calls the Hyundai A-League and international fixtures for Fox Sports, along with NSW National Premier Leagues specialist Adam Santarossa, combine for the competition’s showpiece event. A half an hour pregame show will lead into kick-off at 3pm, featuring player interviews, coaches interviews, and a countdown of the top ten goals of the season. The stream will stay with the action until a winner is decided.

Moreton Bay United have hosting rights as the highest placed qualifying club after finishing the home-and-away season in first place.

In the other PlayStation 4 NPL competitions, Edgeworth FC were crowned champions in Northern NSW last weekend courtesy of a 2-0 win in the Grand Final Hamilton Olympic.

Meanwhile Western Australia did not hold finals this year, although Bayswater City were the clear standouts as they went through the season undefeated.

Still don't like the fact that the draw is rigged so that the same state champions play each other every year. Surely a 7 game tournament doesn't justify pairing up the closest states.

Would imagine the final taking place on a Saturday as they wouldn't wanna clash with the nrl grand final the following day.

Really dissapointing that they have locked in the venues already, think we could have gotten a huge crowd if we hosted it...provided we are good enough to make it, the quarter final and semi finals will be lost in the shuffle with the FFA cup taking all the attention that week.

It would be hard on players to see the value travelling across the country for these games in early rounds. I dislike it but it is what it is and the reality these players are semi pro. One day maybe if we get a prom rele system.

They have just released the format for the npl finals and I have to say it's a complete joke, the final can't be held in victoria which is absurd, south are guaranteed to host the semi if we advance from the quarters but it's still stupid, what was wrong with the system they had last year where hosting rights was determined by goal difference/red cards etc?
