Its so minor that the major champions (grand final winners) won't receive national recognition as the best club side outside the A-League.

They have just released the format for the npl finals and I have to say it's a complete joke, the final can't be held in victoria which is absurd, south are guaranteed to host the semi if we advance from the quarters but it's still stupid, what was wrong with the system they had last year where hosting rights was determined by goal difference/red cards etc?

Is there a link to the details?

http://www.foxsportspulse.com/assoc_page.cgi?client=13-9385-0-0-0&sID=269940&&news_task=DETAIL&articleID=33050714The Queensland team has a huge advantage not having to travel if they win. South Melbourne v West Adelaide looms as a huge old school semi final blockbuster if both win first up.

Needs to be moved to a random draw for both hosting and fixturing.

It would be hard on players to see the value travelling across the country for these games in early rounds. I dislike it but it is what it is and the reality these players are semi pro. One day maybe if we get a prom rele system.
