With what cap space left? Shed Palanca and Mabil, bought in Babalj and La Rocca.

IIRC Cassio was on a fair amount. Keep in mind that Boogaard, Izzo and Ferreira have also left in the past year.

Doubt he'd be that much, either. Apparently it's a back up plan in case talks with Bozanic break down.

Palanca would have taken that cash from Ferreira. Completely forgot about Boogaard and Cassio. I guess its more La Rocca replacing Boogaard, Babalj replacing Ferreira/Palanca and Cassio/Izzo/whatever is left to through at Dugandzic.

If you don't think that's enough, there's the (probably not a great amount) money that Watson would've been getting.

I was wondering why someone hasn't snapped him up. the jets or the Mariners could use a player like him. Great potential and experience and still quite young. Will be a good pick up for adelaide if true

He's currently a free agent (not sure if this is news, don't remember hearing anything about his release) and trialling with a club in Norway atm.

He was one of a bunch of players who got released by City at the end of the season. That's why it may not standout.

Would probably be better for his career and bank account to play for the Mariners/Jets than for a small club in Scandinavia.
