Clap emoticon to Bowdz for his great thread. Excuse me. Go to page 7 of that thread, and you'll see which forumite really kicked things off. I went 1788 all over Bowden's ass.

I took a break from football whilst attempting a PhD, fucking about in Europe and getting back into the live music scene in Melbourne. Got bored with those things, came back to football because the FFA cup was exciting. I'm guessing it's a similar story for most of those guys. Some peoples' interest in things just waxes and wanes. Maybe you are right. I'm gobsmacked that you lost interest in football. I thought you were one of the keenest members on the forum. Ill back that up. When I was a laser programmer I would always post on here during the day. This was way back in 2007-08. Then I moved into production office and pretty much lost track of this place for a long while, probably around the time GCU started. Wasn't till only recently my job changed again and I find time to be involved more. That's my excuse too. Used to come mostly during work hours. Not possible these days.

Where has adrtho gotten to? I miss reading the stuff he writes. He cops a lot of flak but he makes some good points and introduces important dialectics, I think.
The forum is far better off for his presence.

Edited by 433: 13/8/2015 06:30:35 PM Nope. Left the forums of his own doings. Got sick of the shit that went down. Is a pretty busy bloke at the moment so even if he did have time to come on, he wouldn't often. Well that's a pretty dramatic lifestyle change for someone who previously spent every minute of consciousness on 442.

Clap emoticon to Bowdz for his great thread. Unfortunately, I live too far away to meet up, but to me the best thing about football is bringing people together. Anyone doing this, deserves praise. I live in Seoul but I have met up with a few guys from here. What did COYS do to get banned?

I miss him. I think 6 months was too long. Actually he was only initially banned for a week (in fact a glitch made his ban last a little longer than that but I fixed it) but he didn't come back. Edited by paladisious: 10/8/2015 09:54:55 PM Wow. Had no idea Highkick was like that. I cannot believe what he said about his own wife. I thought he seemed quite reasonable when talking about most topics to do with football. Highkick was a moron who knew absolutely nothing about football. Apart from losing his ability to find a stream of a game anywhere in the world, this forum is much better off without him. His greatest moments were during the World Cup when he said he would have scored when Leckie didn't because even though he had never played football in his life, he had played State League basketball (which in WA is played in front of approx. 50 family and friends) and therefore could handle the pressure.

Just it was usually overtly positive. then he got angry with "M80" subculture and he turned sour.

If you go back through the rendezvous thread, it really kicked off when I met Heine.
