Everton boss roberto Martinez has stated that he wants to loan a few Everton players to CCM for experience, striker McAlney is apparently on his way.

Wow!
15 appearances on loan in League One and Two in the past 4 seasons.
You may not get too many 23 year old journeymen, but he's making a decent fist of it....
Why on earth would Everton even have him on their books when he's played 15 senior games by age 23? Either he's not good enough to play regularly, or constantly injured. Neither is good enough for the HAL.
Nice to see Everton taking the piss out of this deal

Nice to see Everton taking the piss out of this deal Based on both his age and premier league/championship appearances not good enough for A-league? :-s Was loaned from Everton to Cardiff in february where he scored 2 in 8 appearances in the Championship - I doubt the HAL is beyond him tbf. I wouldn't write McAlney off as a bad player, gotta be ATLEAST as good as Roy O'Donovan

Sounds a bit similar to Alex Rodriguez.

Nice to see Everton taking the piss out of this deal He had his leg broken in a League One game when he was 21 so he missed a decent amount of time due to that. Hardly fair to write him off as injury prone when something like that happens

Nice to see Everton taking the piss out of this deal Disagree... Whilst his resume is a bit patchy, I'd say he's exactly the sort of player CCM would've expected with this sort of deal - would benefit from more 1st team football after having limited opportunities with Everton. At least judge him having seen him play rather than off reading his Wikipedia!

At least he is a striker. Could easily of just gotten some random back. Wonder if he can take pens because Roy obviously cant.

This guy is older than Rogic, but played a third of the games Rogic has. Think of that. The perennially crooked Aussie, who's barely played has still played 3 times the games of this guy.
Have i seen him play? No, of course not. But as i said earlier, he's either been extremely injured or simply not good enough.
i would think getting a top 19 year old who needs to gain senior experience would be better value than a 23 year old who's been unable to deliver thus far

If not Brendan Galloway would have been with the Mariners this year.
As for McAleny - he has had a good pre-season including 3 assists and a goal in a 4-0 win against a League 1 side ..... Martinez saw his side ease to a 4-0 win over Swindon in their first pre-season match. Kevin Mirallas scored a second-half brace before Romelu Lukaku added a third goal and Conor McAleny, who notched three assists in the match, rounded off a 4-0 victory with a deserved goal. http://www.vavel.com/en/football/premier-league/everton/522479-everton-season-preview-201516.html Man United target Mason Holgate will join 'golden generation' at Everton ROBERTO MARTINEZ believes Mason Holgate will join a “golden generation” of young players at Everton. By Chris McKenna / Published 13th August 2015 .... And Martinez claimed the 18-year-old versatile defender will join the likes of Brendan Galloway and Conor McAleny as part of a golden generation.
