Abdulrahman bin Musa'ad - one of the richest men in Saudi Arabia and a member of the all-powerful royal family has cut many of his ties to Al-Hilal and is rumoured to be looking at investing in a HAL club.

You would have to wonder why an A League club though wouldn't you, with all that money and all?
And the last foreign billionaires that invested (Roar) didn't turn out so well ... although City are doing much better out of their deal.

Robert Kraft is looking to invest in another sport due to the recent falling out between him and the NFL over deflate-gate. Kraft is looking at other potential sporting teams, in the US and overseas, to invest in. He also owns MLS team New England Revolution, so buying a HAL team makes sense.
No source, just a rumour Im trying to spread.

Would be a welcome surprise to see a human rights organisation invest in a HAL team. Await the day.

He told me that Australia was being accepted into the AFC a couple of weeks before it happened with no media mentioning that it was even being discussed after the previous abortive attempt. No mention was made of the club but I would think that Brisbane are the prime candidate. I checked that and he has indeed stepped down as president of the club. That said - it is a rumour - I wouldn't be banking the house on it. Edited by patjennings: 19/8/2015 01:44:04 AM
