Actually it's reality.
It's well known that right wingers are, on average, more racist, xenophobic & anti-immigration.
Apart from sociological research, Go Back To Where You Came From made that visually clear.
They also commit less crime, pay more taxes and are more likely to have a university degree that leads to employment.
Although I am not really sure how this relates to immigration, yes right wingers do have higher levels of income. Although, to clarify, ABC Vote Compass did show left wingers have higher average levels of education. But I wouldn't be surprised if the degrees by right wingers typically lead to more employment. They do tend to value money more & hence you would expect that righties do these degrees, such as the field of commerce, that lead to higher paying jobs.
When you are paying more than $150k in income tax per year, it begins to affect whom you vote for. Government waste starts to become more personal. It also starts to affect you when you realise you are paying more income tax than most federal politicians who make these decisions. Wait till thats starts happening.
Of course the tendency for people on higher incomes is to vote for parties that minimise their tax liability, such as the Liberal Party.

How's that degree in Ancient History going?
You will find the majority of academics, who hold a PhD, vote left wing.
Most people I know doing a PhD are doing one because they did a degree with extremely low employment prospects.

Look at what is happening on the borders in Europe, that is what the leftards want, and it is much uglier than our situation.

The Libs like playing hot potato whereas the Greens / Labor are like "Welcome aboard...on one condition...NIMBY".

Seriously..... Labour? They started the whole indefinite overseas detention system in the first place and continue to support the current practice. The ALP of 2015 are a bunch of frauds and stooges pretending they represent the left.

I don't know what's worse, actual left-wingers or pseudo-left-wingers.
