NSW draw for the FFA CUP qualifying rounds to be streamed tomorrow live at 2.30pm on the NSW NPL facebook page.

Does that make an extra 10 SA clubs in the Cup this year?

Will mostly be association clubs, yeah. I gather NPL 1/2 clubs won't be drawn for a couple rounds yet? Or is everybody thrown into the same stew?

Also are A-League NPL clubs eligible to enter?

The competitions starts with a few teams in round 2. The bulk will enter in round 3 with Men's State League and NPL3 clubs. Round 4 will bring the NPL 1/2 clubs. I am assuming all rounds will be drawn today.

All rounds and clubs will be drawn. with NPL clubs entering round 3 or something.

as for HAL NPL clubs, I don't think they are eligible to enter.

FNSW put a tweet out the other day saying there were 128 clubs in the FFA Cup, then today there are only 122?
And again none of the country clubs entered, other then Western NSW Mariners and Wagga City.

yep, we've been knocked out by NPL 1 sides both previous years, haven't looked deep enough into the draw but wouldn't surprise me if the winner of our draw has to play another NPL 1 side to qualify. A NPL 3 side with no doubt have a free ride into the last 5 with only playing amateur side just to rub it in. :oops:
