Last time I was at Fraser Park I was playing for Balmain U/16s. The field was a dustbowl, the grand stand was a bunch of scaffolding and its smack bang between the Bankstown Line and the freight line. The ground has been renovated since and a new synthetic field installed (all the clubs are installing them nowadays - its like preteen girls and barbie dolls, everyone must have one!).

Last time I went by on the train the scaffolding grandstand had gone, and on the field sat 3 bulldozers and a lot of dirt. I assume they've upgraded their ground since. I'll suss out their canteen if they've installed one, but whether it'll be open on a weekday for a cup qualifier is another question altogether. I doubt it will be.

yer, this crowd blows me tbh, I used to verse them when known as Homenetman, troublesome club back in those days - I expect they have improved their behavior for I was shocked to hear my son followed a mate playing for them this season. So I have to say good luck to them in Wagga.

I have quite a few interests in the many Sydney games having played against myself and then 2nd son in Ryde Magic YL.

Heiny, step up another level my friend, forget the yeeros's at marrickville (they were great 20yrs ago), get yourselves up to Canterbury Rd Petersham and gorge yourselves at Frango's portugese chicken burgers/chips, leaves those yeeros's to death.

I'll vouch for Frango's as well. Last time I came up to Sydney from Melbourne, my mate took me out there for a great feed.

Grandstand is still incomplete so the only way you are watching the game is from the corner or behind the goals. There isn't much shelter either. I wouldn't bother. I watched Dulwich Hill vs Pendle Hill there and it wasn't great.

Yeah I thinking the facilities weren't exactly great. Might head to Rockdale City v Macarthur. Their not much farther from me. 1 or 2 stations, really.
