BBC showing the fans who are being held on the field of Stade de France awaiting evacuation while police guard the entrances, must be very scary being there with nowhere to escape to should something happen.

No firm info on who the perpetrators are as yet, for all we know it could be far-right Christians like Anders Behring Breivik from the Norway attack.

If these hostages are in fact being killed why aren't the military or police rushing in?

I just heard reports that the police are planning to assault the Bataclan. However with 5 or 6 heavily armed gunmen a rushed assault risks just being a suicide mission. Or if the gunmen hold them off long enough a massacre of everyone in there.

Haven't heard anything of a suicide bombing in the stadium, but I did see the footage where you could hear a bomb go off outside the stadium.

Also about thirty people escaped from the concert hall.

Crystal Palace defender Martin Kelly posted on Instagram shortly before the attacks began that he went to a cafe that is right in the vicinity of the attacks. Apparently it's even on the same street. Not sure if he has been caught up in the attacks.
