A bit late to this thread, but pretty obviously, forumites who are neutral and have been around for a while would make the best mods. Whether KA will add new mods or not is an entirely different question (he seemed to indicate he wouldn't in MrBrisbane's farewell thread), but if it is happening I'd back both U44 and EG. Easily the most neutral people on here.

Been a member and a regular/irregular poster for many years now and I can honestly say from my perspective its at an all time low and has been for a while now.

When once you could jump on here and talk football and abit of nonsense and have a laugh there is very little of that. This whole M80 thing is creepy and the amount of people wanting to be apart of it is even more creepier. and thats just one of the underlying negative elements of this forum.

I'm sure the mods do a stellar job here but perhaps a fresher outlook like has been previously said on here would give this forum some new life.

Or if I am completely wrong, maybe as i have gotten older my tolerance levels have declined. :)

I've submitted you, Grazorblade, U4486662 and Quickflick to KA arguing your cases as potential mods.

Maybe PaulBagz could be okay too, from what I've seen him post.

Thupercoach ( is he still here?) and Chillbilly would be good as mods.

I had not realised PV4 had left either, who had done a good job. Shame he left.

I think the current mods desperately need more people to carry the workload. It seems to me IMNOFREAK, Stifler's Mom, Erebus, Funky Monkey don't seem to post much anymore. I cannot imagine someone not posting much, then attending to their mod duties. I could be wrong though.

It may be an issue that Pala, Benjamin, Joffa and Bowden have far too big a workload. My perception is they need some help with the mod work.

One problem is that we are not getting the new blood that adds a range of views to any discussion.

I've still heard of people registering then not being able to access their accounts. They are being told they have an incorrect password or they just have not been activated. How long does 'activation' take?


Of course the new blood was more frequent with the old links to articles and the forum. I'm surprised the connection cannot be made by some IT techies since the site has changed ownership.
