Would be happy with this move if only because we haven't had any Aussies Abroad playing in France for like 10 years. The drought will be broken :p

If he leaves then the Fox Sports crew are gonna have to focus their undying love on another young, alright player or just put more attention on Mooy
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

If he get's signed now he's being seen as a prospect, not a genuine first team squad member.
He's barely entrenched in the Mariners... He looks good, sometimes. Still too young and inconsistent to crack it overseas anytime soon.

hot and cold sometimes looks great, other times looks trash.
Might need to stay here a bit longer to gain more consistency, but that actually depends on where he goes in Europe. The middle to bottom sides in Ligue 2 are actually quite poor and packed with youngsters.

I'd love to have seen him go to Brisbane to replace Brattan. I think with better players around him, he may look more consistent. The shame is that he's already 24 or so.

He is very good on his right side though. Whether he is inconsistent or not, whenever I've seen him he has a rare quality for Australians of his age. He has good technique and superb vision. He can also defend. Apart from his one sidedness he must be in Ange's calculations. One of my favourite players to watch in the HAL. Yesterday he performed the Brazilian Elastic - the first Aussie I've seen do it in a game.=d> Edited by Decentric: 30/11/2015 04:05:45 PM

Very astute of you.=d> I thought he beat the player, but an uncoordinated movement of the defender caused the ball to reverberate to his advantage, not Caceres. Have to say I'm mighty impressed, Jono.=d> I take my hat off to you. I'll put up a video of the Elastic.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXqPEpeokCgThis is the Elastic or Flip Flap demonstrated by Ronaldinho. I have seen Harry Novillo do it too in the HAL. This is different from the Matthews Cut. There are two touches in the Matthews Cot, whereas there is only one in the Elastic. Most of us, including me, struggle to keep to ball on the end of the foot in one continuous movement. I can do a bastardised version, by doing a sole of the the foot sideways movement before the inside cut. Edited by Decentric: 30/11/2015 06:38:47 PM

Edited by Decentric: 30/11/2015 06:38:47 PM I'm yet to pull one off in a game, but usually 7/10 come off in practice. It's a sweet looking move.
