Not sure which would be better for him. Sitting on the bench every week, or playing reserves? At least he'd be playing if in the reserves squad. He's a long way from EPL standard, and really just need gametime at this stage in his career. Has he even played 100 matches yet? No he hasn't.

He could play it safe by staying in the A-League & maybe securing the number 3 goalkeepers spot with the Socceroos or if he has ambitions to improve trying his luck in England in either the EPL or Championship as the number two keeper & fighting his way as the number one for both club & country. You might think he has Matty Ryan, Mitchell Langerak, Adam Federici & co in front of him but Mark Schwarzer had Mark Bosnich, Zeljko Kalac, John Filan & co in front of him when he was number two in German teams.
