They are decadent, as are the rest of us. I am clearly a part of society and have referred to moments of my own decadence. I do not support oppression of homosexuals, and believe in the right to sleep with, marry/union with and copulate with whoever you want.

My point is the forced mass acceptance of the LGB lifestyle, has led to the trans revolution, and will continue to lead to forced mass acceptance of further customs of minority groups. This is driven by a social desire to accept people despite their lunacy, for fear of hurting their feelings; as evidenced by the extended transgender identifications and transpecies identifiers.

These people have been around forever, and whilst they are entitled to live how they want, it sets a dangerous precedent when people are constantly exposed and normalised to the ideals of a small population, because it will lead to future acceptance of other kinks and an openness to such things.

All of this combines to leave a society more worried about labels, victim hood and marginalisation, rather than accepting ourselves free from outside influence and working together to accept each other for who we really are. This is evident in other social movements of recent time, no more so than third wave feminism where myths such as the wage gap and the patriarchy (homophobia*, transphobia**) serve to demoralise men (cis-hetero) and empower further outlandish claims of sexism that need rectifying such as manpreading, mansplaining (transpeciesm).

*Definitely a problem until the 2000's. In the last 5-10 years I would say homophobia has become a minority issue, considering most developed countries have legalised marriage or civil union's, hate crimes and speech has become almost non-existent etc.
**Still a problem, but nowhere near as bad as it used to be. Not far from eradication.

What's your point here? It may be commonly held, but it's fucking dumb. It should be dismissed and not treated seriously.

You're completely misunderstanding the point about p*edophiles there. It is entirely unrelated to queer rights because it is not an issue of activism - it is a medical discussion happening right now.

Eminent psychologists are now arguing that we should attempt to medically treat non-offending p*edophiles rather than ostracising them and turning them into offenders. That seems like a very logical path that will prevent cycles of abuse.

It is true that there are people who are born attracted to children. It is an illness. It is a psychological problem. The only people who should be punished for it are those who act on that attraction - actual child molesters.

As long as there are queer kids blowing their own brains out because of who they are, it is fucking laughable to claim that "equality has basically been achieved."
