WGMG: Still having major troubles with the sales guy that did the costings for our building contact.
- still hasn't explained why after us adding $2,000 worth of extra lighting in our contract that we would need to spend another $1,000 on lighting 2 months later as the lighting supplied was not adequate.
- after he removed our driveway from the building contact we had thought the 3rd party that had provided a quote was associated with the builder so we went ahead and signed contracts to then find that a) he denies getting the quote b) after contacting the concreter he says he would never quote such a low quote, which was half the price than other i spoke to c) he also supplied a quote for landscaping (which i don't need) which he also denies providing, however the person who quoted it is his son and finally d) after pressing him he stated that he did do the concrete quote and it was quoted by his son-in-law.

I mean what the fuck!?
I've spoken to the boss of the company who backed his man as he doubted that the sales guy would seek out quotes outside of the builders contractors, until i stated that the quotes were from his children's companies.

Waiting to hear back tomorrow.
Just so frustrating as we were very clear that we wanted the builders to be doing all the work bar the Landscaping and because the sales guy has done the dodgy were going to be out of pocket when we shouldn't be. Such a huge fucking mess the whole sales process sucked... i think I've said all this before!

All i can say is don't build with a company that takes its name from a rather large Victoria city that has an afl team with hoops.

WGMG: Was offered a job sort of in my field that I studied in 3 weeks ago, and they took their sweet time sending a formal offer to me. So, I finally got it on Monday afternoon, and they called me at the same time, so I told them I'd have to finalise with my partner, and with work, to sort out my final date at my current job, so I could give them a starting date, and when that is organised, I'll accept the offer on their little portal thing online, and that I'd need a couple days to do so, since I Won't be at work until Wednesday.

9am on the dot I have a missed call from them when I was at work and couldn't answer. Another 20 minutes later accompanied by a voice message saying that they noticed I hadn't accepted the offer yet and then because I have one of those convert to SMS voicemails, the message cut out. But, the offer is no longer in their portal. They won't answer the phone, and they haven't called back since 11am when I was finally able to call them back.

WGMG: Being away for months at missing out on top quality bants.

Yep. I keep my cat inside at night and she spends most days of the week inside. My cat is only outside each day between when I get home from work and when it gets dark.

I don't think I could be more responsible without keeping her inside all day every day which is cruel.

It's also odd because the other neighbours love my cat because she's friendly to their children. I guess cats can sense arseholes :lol:
