Not sure if this is the right place to put this, But im coming over to Melbourne for the ICC and need to get tickets. As ive never been to MCG before and a rectangle field on a big oval is never ideal, Where is the best place to sit to get a decent view.

Paid top dollar once to be seated at the centre but so low that advertising boards were blocking our view partly. So whatever you do don't listen to the AFL savy but other sport stupid Melbourne bogans selling you tickets.

Don't sit level one.

Level 2/3/4 are much better with elevated seats.

This was my view from level 4 last year (some of the cheapest tickets), and I can tell you its much better than anything at ground level.

Only Level 1 left on Ticketek :( Hopefully they are far back enough to get a decent view.

Pretty much this. Lvl 1 is shit for football. Upper levels are fine, unless your scared of heights:lol:

If Level 1 is all that's available then don't waste your money.

Jesus Christ I never realised just how far from the pitch the seats at the MCG are from the broadcast.
