Quote:Erik Israelsson chased by overseas clubs published July 13, 2016 at 15:26
A club in the Russian second League and a club in Australia have shown interest in Erik Israelsson - and should be prepared to buy off Hammarby midfielder. But Bajen doubt about selling its top scorer. - He is very important to us, says sports director Mats Jingblad.
Erik Israelsson's Hammarby's top scorer this season and has scored eight goals and two målgivande passes in 13 games. That puts the 27-year-old midfielder tied for second place in the Allsvenskan top scorer. It has made several foreign clubs expressed interest in him. According to information provided to the Sport Express is a club in the Russian second League and a club in Australia willing to buy off Israelsson. The unnamed Russian club will be closest at hand - if there is a sale. According to sports director Mats Jingblad are a couple of inquiries about Hammarby player - but at present, no concrete negotiations be conducted with any club. - There have been a number of inquiries for any of our players, but in the current situation, we are not in negotiations with any club. There are a couple of our players that are interesting for other clubs but more than that, I would not comment. - It is said that no concrete negotiations with any other club right now, he says. http://www.expressen.se/sport/fotboll/allsvenskan/erik-israelsson-jagas-av-utlandska-klubbar/ Edited by scott21: 14/7/2016 03:30:04 AM

We are 14th and in the relegation playoff spot, with Erik being one of our best players. Hopefully this means Petter will come back from Midtjylland. He will be a hero at which ever club he goes to. He is all class and 100% heart. This was his derby winning goal that almost killed him last season. Saint Erik He did sign a contract extension until the end of 2018 earlier this year. I imagine only MC would be willing to pay and he is a suitable replacement for Mooy. Any idea what Aussie club? One would assume it's an A-League club. Why is it his only reason to live for? Surely that's a translation mishap?

Why is it his only reason to live for? Surely that's a translation mishap? That was about me. Will change title. No idea what club. Cant see anything yet. In 2015 the 15th best paid player in Sweden got 988k kr , about AUD 150000. Erik was not on the list. I doubt he would have received much of a raise. I do think however that he would need a significant raise to leave, as his family is settled etc. From Swedish forum- nothing really, people saying the club should get anywhere from get $500k-$4million. I think 8 million kr is reasonable (about $1.3 million). He has a 1 month old so Russia might be out. His brother just spent a year in Australia. Edited by scott21: 14/7/2016 05:02:00 AM

Parts of the home crowd loudly showed what they thought of rigging and early signaled the medical team for a change. Juel-Nielsen warned of rigging and after a few minutes was Israelsson get from the plan on their own. - They will probably take no risks with Israelsson given what has happened before.

Can confirm MV are the club interested. Heard this from someone with links inside the club a few weeks back.
I hear the club is willing to pay the transfer fee also, as they are struggling to find players good enough for free.
Not sure about the injury though.. Don't think that will affect anything.
The other MV are working on is Marco Rojas.

He has a buy out clause to an Australian or American club for about AUD 150k
Which is nothing.
You could pay him 250-350k per season.

I think he'd be a great signing for Victory, sadly I think it's too little too late, would love Victory prove me wrong though.

+xI think he'd be a great signing for Victory, sadly I think it's too little too late, would love Victory prove me wrong though. He is our best player atm. Re-signed in Jan but put in a sneaky clause to move. Good on him, I hope some heads roll at the club.

+xToday is the last day the Swedish window is open. Would do well at MC or MV. I understand the Swedish Transfer Window closes today but I'm pretty sure a player can leave after it closes as long as the window is still open in the incoming association? Any more word if he is on the move?

Not sure if he can still go.
I thought if we picked up Besara back from Turkey it would be a sign but he went to Örebro yesterday. We have signed Petter for the midfield but he comes 2017. So no replacement has been made.
