I barely provoked said person, seemed like they were having a shit day. We were broken up before anyone could get a shot in, lucky for said person considering I am 10-15cm taller and of a much bigger build. ;)

Nah. There was just some drunk guy and he was taking his time stacking his chips up so I said "Be a shame if someone knocked them over" and he went "You fucking do and I'll smash your fucking face in!" and took a swing. He missed and got escorted out so it's no big deal.

I dont know whether im a good fighter or not. Without sounding like a wanker my 'altercations' usually end with the other person on the floor in a matter of seconds. Ive never really had an even fight. Poor me. Ive found reach is the most important thing to have in a fight. Reach and rage.

I would have to disagree on rage tbh. If your just completely raging your just throwing punches wildy. Which works against some, but if your not think straight, your leaving yourself very open. You need control

Firstly when someone wants to have a go at me. I get stunned. They usually get in first. Then i get hit with a shitload of nervous energy. Then i get confident. And then its on and i dominate. I dont go looking for fights but theres plenty of wankers out there.

I'm not that hardcore. Only been in one fight, was in year 7. I kicked him in the head, and I regretted it. Being "good" at fighting isn't that cool.

Indeed there are. The only real fight I got into was with a bunch of Aboriginal people at Redfern. Me and my mates came out on top. :)

Retalliating should be a last resort (eg self defence, or if the fuckwits playing pool won't shut up when Wilkshire's taking a corner). Think about it; you hit someone in the face, they fall over, smash the back of their head on the ground... brain damage = you're fucked. You're mates (the smart ones) will try to distance themselves from the incident. You punch someone hard enough in the chest, you can stop their heart.

My instinct isnt to kill or severely injure the other guy. Its just to difuse the situation. Usually that means getting him on the ground ASAP and keeping him there.
