I really hate how some of these production companies film football in Australia. Why do they zoom in so fucking much? Like if someone is holding the ball in the centre circle, they'll zoom in and show him with a defender.
Is it a relic from filming league/union/aussie rules or what? It's so frustrating having no clue what else is happening on the pitch in terms of positioning/runs/potential passes because some bloke thinks I would rather be watching a midfielder's leg hairs.

I think you can appreciate that I'd rather be waterboarded than this torture. Definitely telling of a lack of match intelligence in terms of presentation. Have seen far, far worse, though.
