Mariners copping it from the officials. O'Donovan incorrectly called offside, then Gully score from 2m offside.

Luke Pilkington scored for Bentleigh, thats the young fella that was on Fox 8 superstar tv show back in the day. I wondered what happened to him.

This is worrying for the aleague. A second tier with 92 teams can beat first tier opposition. This is the second time and City got off lucky

Not a bad night. Come from behind win courtesy of 2 goals from a young player on debut and a Nichols thunderbastard. Oh and CCM lol

Just when I think Newcastle are shit this happens, well done Walmsley, extend his contract, etc
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

I feel for the Mariners and their fans, particularly with the disallowed O'Donovan goal and the equaliser being offside - but hooooooooly fuuaaaarrk what an absolute belter that winning goal was. He hit it so sweetly.
On balance of play at least I feel like Green Gully had the better of the match, particularly in the second half.

The under dogs can beat the big boys in a one off game, heck they can even make a run of it like Auckland City does in the Club World Cup half the time, or do you think Auckland was the third best team in the world in 2014? Nothing to worry about.
