It will be interesting to see what the FFA do now in regard to the draw.
Brisbane play Glory so one team goes through there. Sydney should win.
That leaves 5 A-League teams.
2015 7 went through resulting in r16
2 x A-League v A-League games
3 x A-League v NPL
2014 6 went through resulting in r16
1 x A-League v A-League
4 x A-League v NPL

Lol, fucking hell. We were shithouse but we still should have won that.
I love Eugene but it's hard not to want to tear him a new one for that equaliser when he had nothing else to do all game. Misjudged the flight of the ball AND fumbled it, just atrocious.
Second goal was awful defending all round, multiple missed attempts to clear and then ball watching to gift them a tap in from the cutback.
Can't say I'm a fan of their very defensive style but Redlands took their chances well and took advantage of a piss-poor attacking effort from Adelaide. We really need to make some signings because from that effort I don't have a lot of faith in our depth up front.
Utterly embarrassing performance. It's all fun and games until it happens to you :(

Surely now the FFA should have learned that if not a completely open draw, the best solution is to actually seed A-League teams against NPL/Member Federation teams until there are none of either left, these David v Goliath matches are the magic the cup is made of.
We can watch Nix v WSW three more times this year.
