#TeamAguero would like to thank Team Icy for the opening day fixture.

The game was played in the best spirits, and the scoreboard did not do the closeness of the match justice. 

Icy will be a real threat to teams in the very near future, and we wish him the best of luck.

On our side, we could not be more proud and impressed with each and every individual in #TeamAguero. If you were to ask us before the season what result we'd be hoping for on opening day, playing away from home, we would have been over the moon with a draw at most. To put together a quality display and earn the three points was more than we expected.

There were many external fears that we wouldn't gel together in time but we pulled it together and came out of the starting blocks firing. We believe we have sent a clear message to the rest of the league that although you gave us the underdog tag, you should fear us! 

I thought I was gone on Sunday morning being 0-2 down!
