Might be good for him, clearly no longer wanted at WSW, I still rate him. 

Absolute class player. Jerks should have never let him go. I fondly remember stupid bastards on this forum harping on about how poor he was but he improved immensely while at Newcastle and kicked on at WSW.

NTS was superb when partnered next to Ljubo at the Jerks.

After Ljubo left, however, he was complete gash. I remember on the jerks forum running a 3,2,1 voting system for each game for the year after Ljubo left and NTS didn't register a single point from any fan, which says a tonne over the course of an entire season. He was garbage that year, and particularly in the context that we were paying him 250k per year (because Sydney FC negotiated with him the prior offseason and drove his price up) it made 100% sense that we moved him off our books at the time.

In saying that, he returned to form in a massive way at WSW and has seemingly had a superb time since. 

I still put it down to who he partners in defence, determining how well he performs. 

Might be one of Bulut's requests for signing that NTS goes first ;)

Would be a very good signing for any club really.

Popovic is ruthless, he culls his squad and removes players easily. He has a job to do so I get it but offloading the captain damm. Really though topor Stanley would end his a league career there.

I am not a fan of it, he basically has a new team every season. I am not sure his way or out is a good club culture to have. I'm not sure how its going to last, winning acl brownie points is really not going to last. 

Considering the salary cap I see why he does it.

It's the salary cap and refreshing your squad is how you stay successful in the A-League. As for the club culture it's pretty great. Apart from a couple players who it didn't work out for, players who have left have had nothing but good things to say. Fact of the matter is players want to play for Popa.
