Thats a correct point TSF but you can't help but admire older F1 cars. Ofcourse time moves on nothing stands still but not everything new is better than before :) I was at that first Adelaide F1 - it was awesum having not had the true F1 racing in Oz and to arrive the Thursday and hear them from a klm away was mad get me over there quick smart. Seeing Senna in one of the best looking F1 cars to date the JPS sponsered black/gold Lotus was absolute porn ! Seeing Ferraris finally in anger (well unreliable big time those days mostly) another tick ! Rosberg,Mansell,Laffite,Lauda,Piquet,Prost,Berger,De Angelis,Patrese,Albereto to name a few, love to have seen hamilton taking on those soft drivers back in the day. I was rapted to finally see our Jonesy back here but all ill fated in the Lola. Wow some great Constructors missing today from back then. Better track than Albert Park. Bucket list is Goodwood and I sure wouldn't say no turning up to this in the future.
