He's got a point there. Year 10 basically does decide your future.

I had trouble chosing my subjects because there were the ones I had to do and the ones I wanted to do and then I had like 3 spots to fill with the shit that was left over off the top of my head I am doing Media 1-2, Photography 1-2, History 1-2, English 1-2, Literature 1-2, Religion 1-2, Legal Studies 1-2

The only subject we were forced to do was English. I chose Environment, Biology, Maths, Mod. History, Computers, Adv.English

Yeah we have to do English and R.E the rest you can do whatever you like.
I really enjoy History but our school only covers the WW1, 2 and nam as well as Revolutions but I prefer the stuff that goes further back like Romean Republic

Every school has crap History faculties. Even Geography was better and that was as boring as shit. Ancient History didnt run, there was no interest in it.....:roll: crap. Whats R.E.?
