Trump was seriously exposed on taxes and race. Clinton is just a tired old cliched prototypical politician who offered a bunch of platitudes, buzz words and no real plans. At least with Trump you get the impression he will shake shit up, Clinton will just continue Americas steep decline.

I thought Trump made some very good points and I think (from the little I did see) he was doing better in the debate than Clinton.

Trump had some good moments on trade but he came off worse on income taxes, his tax returns, race and gender issues and towards the end of the debate was waffling a lot without really making much of a point in quite a few of his answers.

He hit clinton well on nafta and tpp and had a good retort at the end but for me he lost the debate pretty comfortably in terms of points scored, but it's not worth anything if the polls don't move.
 It didn't help him that immigration didn't come up as its such a key point of difference for him.

If Trump is bad for trade, that’s bad for Mexico and the peso, as well as the Canadian and Australian dollars, and vice versa.
