WGMG: Just realised that my melbourne victory category c family membership seats for aami park have been moved from as close to the category b area you can get to the g.a dry area. We renewed within a week of getting the letter. Real pissed off.
Will be a fun phone call tomorrow. 
Not to mention we had locked in our seats 2 weeks ago for the derby for it to not register properly, had to do it again and the seats suck. Luckily someone else is using the tickets. Grrr..

Not just current uni students, but ex uni-students. They point to the piece of paper they went into debt for, flash their credentials like a sheriffs' badge and think that means their argument> your argument.

WGMG: When you get to the end of semester and realize how far behind you are on a subject. Gonna be a stressful SWOTVAC ffs. 

Mate, you don't know behind until you've missed every lecture for your subject. Would've passed but 50% on the exam was a hurdle requirement. Only studied the day before by reading the lecture slides and doing 2 practice exams with no answers to check them.

How is anyone that useless? Honestly, it's costing you $1000's to go to uni and you can't even attend lectures and do no study? Fuck me why do people even go to uni if they can't be bothered attending lectures or studying?

My favorite quote "I don't know anything but my textbook says you're doing it wrong".

When I left uni I realised very quickly that I knew nothing. I find that the people who do masters and pHD's are the hardest to deal with because they think that their years of research are infallible. I have to do courses with these people for my registration and they argue some stupid stuff that they wouldn't if they stepped away from the uni campus and worked in a practice.

Pretty piss poor excuse motivate yourself. Uni is cruisy. Who wants to employ people who make excuses like this?

Skipping an entire subject is pretty fucking useless. The tax payer is literally paying for people to skip uni because they CBF.

WGMG: Blamed our dog for pissing on the carpet in our new house 2 days in a row right up where our bed head is on the wall. Thought it was strange that it didn't smell. After trying to dry it i decided to move the bed. 
Yep... wasnt the dog. The carpet under our bed was wet. Water coming from inside the wall. Fucking furious, been waiting since Monday, had one plumber who said that its must likely rainwater unless a plasterer has hit a pipe and there is a slow leak but unlikely as it is now drying up. 
Builders are being difficult but legally they have to rectify it so I'm expecting another shit fight. 
Also the heater blew up and there are so many faults that need to be fixed at the 3 month inspection. 
Just so fucking angry at the moment. 

WGMG: New roommate across the hall leaves his door open when he's not home. His body odour could re-animate the dead. A pungent mix of cheap Lynx deodorant and musky sweat that can only be produced by a neck-bearded computer extension. 

WGMG: Daily kilojoule limit on MFP has been reduced from 7100 to 6500 for some unknown reason.

WAGMG: Ankle still hasn't fully healed.

6 months and counting so disheartening when you dont even get a reply

I've been applying for 3 months now. It is more disheartening when they ring you and then after a 10 minute chat your not really the sort of candidate their after as you are too qualified. Or they offer you a job but after doing some calculations you work out that after taxes and paying to get to this job each day you will be earning about $5 an hour.

WGMG: Watching people risk their and others lives because they haven't done proper research and don't know what they are doing. I was helping some friends do some weeding on their farm and then one of them pulls out drums of highly concentrated weed killer and pesticides completely ignores the PPE instructions taped to the drums and starts pouring it out into tubs of water to create the diluted form. Just getting a drop of that stuff on your skin will knock to the ground.

Try 3 years . Luckily i was working during the time but it was disheartening  as i wanted to work in the field i studied but i was working in the same manufacturing  environment  i worked in for 11 years

Logging on for the first time in years and finding that Afroman is no longer up to his forum antics.

I actually had one place say no because i had to give 2 weeks notice to my current employer and they wanted an immediate start. Didnt look for a job for about 3 months after that

Yeah it's pretty bad in SA and this is only for a casual job, 10-15 hours a week max.

Mate have you tried a face to face approach?

We took a grad on 6 weeks ago because he was the only one to walk into our office and basically say "employ me".
