+xI notice the game is only on Optus sport. If I don't watch it live when does it go on demand? Would I be able to get up at 5 and watch it? Also on SBS HD - coverage from 12:30am

+xsurprised by some of the optimism on here, baffled by where it comes from. But hey, I'm on board! Choo choo... My exact response reading this topic, where is the doom and gloom of the regular forum? I would genuinely consider a 3-1 loss to be a good result.

Knock off in an hour. Glorious weather in Hannover but I'll be enjoying a few cold ones at home. A few beer gardens will be showing the match but it'll be either the proud Australian annoying everyone with goal celebrations or the silly Aussie clown who thought they could win. Looking forward to it.

The amount of bullshit Ange has manufactured by just his #belief campaign has completely jaded this squad. Hoping they play well with it or against the sssteeeupid bullshit

Luongo ffs... man.... ahhh Let's see what will happen. Sains is my player of the tourny already. Hopefully Maty rises above with him. But his support cast *smacks forehead*

I'm actually on the more optimistic side of things here in thinking that we won't actually lose this as badly as people are thinking. I predict it will end up being like the game against England last year or the game against the Netherlands in the world cup, in which we actually look decent for periods throughout the match but get let down by lapses in concentration and some sucker punches near the end. Of course, they could still put 4 or 5 past us but I think it won't be as bad as some people here are suggesting.
Chile, on the other hand, I think will be more brutal. They've retained mostly the same team that has gone back-to-back in the Copa America and is currently ranked 4th in the world. Compare that to the Germans who have barely played together and won't be as effective since it will be the first game of the tournament. The Chileans have already clicked since their first game and play an aggressive attacking style that will slaughter us on the wings. THAT is the game where we will get pummeled I suspect. But hey, I'm just happy to be watching the national team play in this international tournament, they don't come around too often!

Exactly that, these tournaments don't come around very often and excited to see our national team play against the best in world.
