Dont get anything for top 6. 

Not aiming too high here.
We say this about the Top 6 every year - just a reward for mediocrity.

Last season, the 6th team had 8 wins. (Although I do admit they did have a lot of draws)
But 8 wins from 27 games, just under 30%, and this is still from 13 or 14 home games a season.
Before that, the 6th teams had 11, 10, 10 and 9 wins to make that 6th spot.

It's really not aiming to high when you say lets win 1 out of every 3 games, and we play finals.

For the Jets of this decade that is aiming high unfortunately.

Yeah, top 6 is not a real goal BUT with everything Jets fans have been through it's a start and perhaps an acceptable target providing the trajectory they're on come the end of the season is good. Let's face it, the A League needs another team capable of averaging 12-15k week in week out and everyone says that's Jet so let's hope ...

The worrying thing for Jets is they look to have signed a lot of good players but no great players so the pressure is in Ernie to turn good in to great. His "I gave up at Nix" story was ill advised in that regard, if the going gets tough at Jets everyone's going to be wondering if he's given up again.

Boogs is going to be disappointed. The only time NTS has looked good is with an organiser like Spira or Megsy beside him.
