The FFA and everyone in charge of player development have huge questions to answer too, this level of player development is unacceptable and regressive, and there's nothing positive ahead in the future either. I genuinely believe we will fail to make 2022 and struggle qualifying for 2026 (thank goodness for the expansion!) with this current crop. We need to churn through some quality players, improve our footballing intelligence, and have a manager that knows a happy medium between all-out defence and suicidal [ineffectual] attacking possession football. So much on our plates at the moment. So much that needs to be answered and improved. Hopefully tonight will stir some action, but even the most optimistic people know that little will change.
