Rogic and juric had so many chances so many chances. Far out so many shots not many of great quality and almost none of great creativity. Leckie stood up. Mooy better game. Rogic and mooy shooting radar seemed off. Lucky sainsbury didnt cost us a penalty but was otherwise good. Good to see Ange read my post about trying to mix it up and use more width and headers. We still look fragile at the back. Ryan had better game to distributing to. 

McLaren seems like a good guy, but as a Socceroo he is an empty, wasted shirt. He has the ball playing ability of Cahill without the goals. He hardly touches the ball anytime he is on the field. No longer required.

almost agree.  he had some sloppy moments that should have been punished.  the desperation on the thai line was sensational. could have easily been a 3 or 4 goal loss.

That's the thing. If you have one of the two easiest (if not the easiest) qualification pathway, by a country mile, and you struggle so badly, then it's not exactly ideal going into the tournament.

I don't think the game was as bad as people are making out. We had 3 shots hit the woodwork and I think as many goal line clearances. The fact none of them yielded goals is just plain unlucky. What I am annoyed about is Matt Ryan. The Thailand strike didn't look all that difficult, he had adequate vision to see what was happening and doesn't even lift his arms let alone attempt to save it. Then he has the cheek to throw his hands up in the air in frustration when the ball went in as if he was surprised that it had happened. Why do we persist with a goal keeper who can't save goals?

I don't necessarily disagree but that was hardly the game to prove your point. I don't remember seeing a team get pummelled like that and only coming away with conceding two goals.
As for the calls for Ange to go, I really don't see the point. If there was an obvious candidate up front that Ange was leaving out, sure. As it is, we don't have the talent upfront and a new manager will make not an iota of difference.
