+x+xFWIW if you can't sustain being relegated you don't deserve first tier football. CCM being relegated won't be the end of them they just don't want to go down which they inevitably would. This statement shows it. For the record, this statement is coming from a Jerks, not CCM, player. Same same but different basically. As far as I'm concerned there are 4 teams I would not classify tinpot in the entire league. Sydney, Western Sydney, Adelaide and the Vuck. The rest would be scrapping out relegation.

If we can't sustain teams in a broken system then we can't handle more teams in a better system! Exactly. Fix the broken system before bringing in anything else. If we can't sustain teams in a broken system then we can't handle more teams in a better system! Exactly. Fix the broken system before bringing in anything else.

However, Ianniello says the club is now confident of raising the $3.5 million revenue needed per season to be part of a professional national second tier league after the club had performed an in-depth logistic study. If 2nd Tier clubs can reach and sustain that level of revenue then with a distribution from the FFA of $3.5m pa they wouldn't be far off being at the average A-League club expenditure of $7.5m and promotion to it would seem viable in the near future especially if the FFA frees up the league. You would think that would be the case and the eventual aim of this. Adelaide City have been the first team to put their hand up. We have a team from Western Oz put their name in the hat. From these two sides it is clear that teams such as South Melbourne, Heidelberg, Sydney United, Sydney Olympic could easily foot the bill.
