I'm still amazed why Brighton wanted Ryan. He's absolutely not the keeper you want at a relegation battling men behind them all direct long ball sides. I'm sure he made the move on the promise of game time and potentially lack of suitors at other big league clubs that couldn't offer the same supposed playing guarantee but it seems a really ill thought out move for both parties

Dont see how joining a football team in the number 1 league in the world from belgium, is a bad move

Yup egg on face there. It did seem an odd move though for a Brighton to be wanting a keeper of Ryan’s attributes but it’s worked out for all parties.

Egg on a lot of people’s faces with this one tbh.
Up until Maty’s move to the EPL, people were still claiming Langerak was the better GK.
Glad Maty has put all those doubts to bed. He belongs at the highest level.

Why would it be egg on your face considering how many have failed to live up to expectations before him. I was sceptical too.

I was pretty sceptical as well. Didn't think Maty could rise to the level required. Happy to be proven wrong.
