Do the Nix have any home fixtures near the AW first league?
They need to make hay while the sun is shining on them

Round 5 away to the Jets on November 4

Then Round 6 at home to the Glory on November 12 (day after the first leg) and Round 7 away to Wanderers on November 18 will most likely be without any All Whites.

The Phoenix are offering 50% off game tickets for people who attend the All Whites. NZ Football is expecting the world cup play off to sell out, it went on general sale today but most of the tickets were sold in the presale. They're expecting it to sell out by the end of today and have put in 4,000 in temporary seating bringing the total capacity of Westpac to about 39k.

Not only is it the All White playoff and the Phoenix but there's also NZ Premiership games in town so could be quite a weekend of football, of course it might depend on how good the non footballing types are feeling after the Peru game. If NZ gets thrashed then they're more likely going to the pub than the Phoenix.

Hamstring injuries can vary greatly but 3 weeks out from the first leg this can't be good at all.

Good to see the criminals are just as prevalent in NZ as they are here.

I would scratch prices for any member of a local football team and give them the priority. None of this bullshit 50%.

Second leg is on in a few hours.

Peru has gone out of their way to disrupt NZ preparations:
The NZ chartered jet was put in a holding pattern for so long that they had to go to Chile to refuel.
The NZ bus traveled at a third of the speed limit on an empty motorway so that and the delayed landing meant that a 9pm arrival time turned into 2am.
The Peru supporters were up all night last night letting off fireworks outside the NZ hotel and Shamans have been cursing the NZ flag and players.
The Peru government sent fighter jets to buzz the NZ hotel in the wee hours of the morning as well.

It's fare to say that they're taking the fixture seriously...
