Glory just can’t defend lol. Victory unluckily not to have at least one, possibly two.

Love seeing Glory get up back where they belong. These huge crowds were a Perth Glory staple in the NSL days. Can't wait for them to throw off the shackles and get a 20 banger crowd

It is not possible for a professional team to defend this badly.
A minute before the second goal Reddy is watching as the ball goes for a goal kick when gd could have easily got out and picked it up. Instead it goes out for s throw and a minute later 2-0

I think this might be the worst team in the country now. More importantly victory fire into the top 6!

Does the VAR auto review that or no?

VAR auto reviews everything ... unless it’s not supposed to then it’s even more useless.

Scrappy but I'll take it. Hopefully with no more interruptions we can push on to greater things.
Jimmy looked decent in the second half, that was refreshing.

Yup, right on cue, Glory have their every season slump. You can set your watches by it. But seriously, with Castro, Taggart, Andreau, Neville out I expected not much more.

its good to be on the board, but I'm not convinced. we still have a very imbalanced squad. need to bring in reinforcements ASAP with 2 players out for the year.
Typical FFA fixturing as well, having to front up in Newcastle 4 days after playing in Perth. Then Wellington over there the week after.

And pretty much the same outs for this week too, if not more added to the list. And probably our shortest break too to front up in Melbourne on Friday night. On a brighter note, there are no win-less teams left for us to play now.

I'm holding fire on the celebrations - that was a very ordinary Perth side on the pitch (because of injuries etc) that was coming off a trip to Wellington. A win, whilst nice, should've been the minimum expectation. Still thought we were static and one-dimensional - just that Perth was rubbish helped us gain that advantage.
Williams was immense again, and definitely should be in the Socceroos frame - provides much more mobility from the back than either Jurman or Wright (both of whom were excellent in the last few matches so unlikely for Ange to not go with them).
An average C performance for mine.

Thought was a very scrappy win for Victory but they will be better for it as confidence will lift. Think Troisi hasn't got anywhere near his best as yet .I'd prefer Mauk in National team at present.Good too see Deng developing but think when Donachie returns he will be benched. Ingham has been a scapegoat lately but did well and has a good cross. Not sure why Brox is at lb .Muscat had plenty of time to find someone who can bomb on and cross balls in. He's a good defender but tends to just play the ball back and sideways. On another note was hoping too see more from Brimmer after all the good stuff I had heard.Still young though and good too see Kenny giving young kids a run.
