Bernie is a beast of a player.

Yeah he might not be as prolific as O'Donovan has been but geez having Patratos, Nabbout and Bernie in your front third is pretty damn explosive on the counter.
Then you have Champness off the bench as well.

Yeah, it was already one of the most threatening attacks in the league.  Bernie would take it next level.

Ibini   Petratos   Nabbout
         O'Donavan

I've never fully seen the Ibini hype tbh. He goes missing far too much for my liking. 

IMO he offers nothing that Champness isn't currently giving us. And the thing I see Champness offering that Ibini doesn't is continual confidence - too often I've seen Ibini go thru the motions when his team isn't firing, and IMO he is a terrible passenger. Champness currently plays without any restrictions.

And I don't see him as a striker to replace O'Donovan, which is what we need as priority. 

Well he's certainly not a striker so wouldn't be replacing  O'Donovan. Jets would need to find a goal scorer, Bernie's good for a few goals a season and maybe an assist. 
Would think he'd come to Sydney on loan if he was coming back though. We could use some pace off the bench.
